Whip Mix Jade Stone is an ISO Type 5 die stone formulated to stack well after mixing while flowing readily under minimal vibration, making it well suited for detailed die work. Its smooth surface finish and light pastel green and blue coloration provide strong visual contrast against casting waxes. The material is compatible with all impression material types and offers a working time of 5 to 7 minutes with a setting time of 10 minutes. Setting expansion is a low 0.18%, with wet compressive strength of 7,500 psi at one hour and dry compressive strength of 14,000 psi at 48 hours. This package contains 120 individual 70 g envelopes mixed at a water-to-powder ratio of 21 mL per 100 g.
