Whip Mix InStep Scannable Carving Wax is a beige carving wax with a melting range of 145°F–155°F (63°C–68°C), designed to solidify quickly and provide a visual cue when the material is ready to carve. The beige color aids in visual discernment of anatomy during the carving process. It melts at a higher temperature than pattern formers and sprues but lower than dip wax, making it compatible within a standard wax-up workflow. The wax offers high polishability and cuts cleanly without stickiness or tackiness. Available in a 1.5 oz quantity in beige only.
